Cognitive Exercises
Here are some cognitive exercises or affirmations for you to try right now! Choose one that resonates with you. Repeat it constantly for at least one week. Every time you become aware of your thoughts--replace what you are thinking with your affirmation. Let it become your mantrum for seven days. Replace the random thoughts and monkey chatter that usually occupy your mind with your mantrum. Repeat the words silently in the morning, as often as you remember during the day and as you fall asleep at night.
There is no magic involved in affirmations What you are doing is re-programming your subconscious mind. It is your subconscious mind that determines your physical reality. It obeys the patterns set down by your conscious mind--in addition to running everything else that goes on in your body, i.e., your breathing, the beating of your heart, etc. What you are doing is setting down new patterns of conscious thought, which will replace the old patterns and messages to the subconscious that no longer serve you.
There is one catch here! You must believe what you are repeating. Rote repetitions without belief or feeling behind them won't cut it! The complete formula is thought + feeling. An empty thought that does not carry the power of your emotions and feelings is just that...an empty thought.
So get to work changing your beliefs about reality itself and how it is formed. I recommend the books of Gregg Braden to get you started on a whole new way of thinking and being based on scientific research. You are your own magic!

I let this day unfold according to Divine Will; allowing The Creator of All to direct my thoughts, words and actions as I move peacefully and prayerfully through this day. I offer no resistance. I am healed. I am whole. I let the manifestation of my healing unfold according to Divine Plan. Homeostasis is restored.
